Gigi Vermylen is excited to join the JCC Brooklyn North Williamsburg afterschool program as a teacher this year. She has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings, including preschool classrooms, school gardens, summer programs, and afterschool programs. Gigi holds a B.A. in History from the University of Scranton and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Teaching English as a New Language at CUNY Hunter. She is passionate about community, nature, and creating meaningful learning experiences for children. Gigi looks forward to helping students build curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in a warm, supportive, and engaging environment.
